- La Ruche is a 5 room guest rooms in the centre of one of the most beautiful villages in France. All of our rooms are tastefully decorated and have private bathrooms with showers. Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast in our dining room which is overlooked by the impressive castle with views of the Auvezere river and the various medieval houses. There are several sentiers running through and around the village for people wishing to explore on foot and we are a short drive away from many interesting villages and towns, including the National Haras at Pompadour, with its own impressive castle.
  
  Our rates are 75€ per night including breakfast, with discounts available for stays of more than one night. We accept dogs at no extra charge but we would prefer notice if you are bringing your pet along.

Never before have I met hosts that were as lovely, caring, helpful, dedicated, funny, and yet professional as Hazel and Jay (being there and giving you the privacy you need). We didn't want to leave and neither did our dog who was even allowed to stay the evening with them so we could go out. They love dogs. The location is unbelievably beautiful and the whole place including the rooms is charming and clean and colourful.

The best b en b ever, the very very kind owners the service, the towels, breakfast showers the bed the rooms the whole interior and the rooms with names as: the fox room, the squirrel, the loreol and more .. fantastic. Every room in another bright color, as well as the curtains. And a great dog called victor, a very sophisticated dog, good manners .

This is a beautiful village and this is a beautiful place to stay. Wonderful welcoming hosts, beautiful breakfast and our room had the most beautiful view of the chateau, the river… picture postcard stuff. Saw a kingfisher perched on a pillar of the bridge and heard owls at night. Just go there on your French adventure !!
