Arboretum park of the Castle of Diege Gardens, Parks in Ussel

On leaving the town of Ussel, north of the Corrézienne Dordogne Valley, the Parc Arboretum stretches along the banks of the Diège. This green space is part of the Castle of Diege estate. It is laid out and landscaped in the spirit of the 19th century, with majestic trees. Its impressive Sequoias and huge Douglas firs adorn the beautiful lawns at the foot of the castle. A charming waterfall and an orchard are very pleasant to cool off in the summer.
