Lac du Causse Nature Reserves / Parks in Lissac-sur-Couze

In the Valley of the Couze and only 15 minutes from Brive, is the Lac du Causse Corrézien . It is a large expanse of artificial water, created on the Couze river. It is a magical place to spend a superb holiday by the blue waters of this pleasant lake. Camping, guinguette on its banks, supervised beaches, possibility of renting boats or bringing your own. It is also a mecca for rowing and fishing. You can go around the lake on foot, about 7km walk. The Moulin de la Mothe is on its banks, this is where the House of Water and Fishing is located, go there for additional information on the activities to do on and around the Lac de Causse. At the very top of the lake, you will see the village of Chasteaux .

You can practice climbing on the nearby cliffs of Fournet and Cirque de Ladou.
