About

  • English
    • Noailles is a small village to the east of Lac du Causse, which will be perfect for a restful stopover. 2 interesting elements, beyond the walk in the village (stop at the church), stand out for holidaymakers: Admire the very pretty Château de Noailles which is private (we do not visit it) with its Renaissance, surrounded by a park. The Noailles market is on Wednesday at the end of the day. To the south of the town, la Fage chasm is a concretion cave that takes you 25m underground to admire columns, stalactites and stalagmites, reliefs forming draperies, forms of jellyfish and other organic elements to imagine… A trip for the senses and always around 13 degrees, take a little wool in the summer. 3 species of bats inhabit these places, they must be respected and when you are silent, you can even hear them. Workshops are available in season for children. Note that the cave can be visited on your own, which is rare for this type of cave! Hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts will tread the paths of the Causse de Noailles.
