About

  • English
    • Allassac is a small town with elegant slate roofs. It is good to walk there, following the interpretation panels to learn more about the heritage. Then sit on a small terrace in the sun to enjoy a moment of calm!

The heritage of Allassac is made up of the César Tower from the 13th century, it is massive and imposing, you can even climb to the top of its battlements to observe the surroundings. At its foot, the Tourist Office. There is also the Manoir des Tours, which dates from the 16th century.

In the town, we recommend that you take a trip to the Site de la Roche , which will offer you a magnificent view of the Vézère Corrézienne valleys. You can also do the Saillant Via Ferrata ! Not far away is the Saillant bridge over the Vézère, an exquisite place to dip your feet in the water and rest.

Friday morning is market day in Allassac.
