We are now in the village which, you guessed it, takes its name from the river which also gave its name to the department. Explore its charming granite houses typical of the department. Go past the 15th century Porte Margot, the last bastion of its fortified enclosure and take a walk along the heritage circuit of the Village of Corrèze (fr), to see noble hotels and fortified houses from the Renaissance period. A Tèrra Aventura circuit is also available in Corrèze which is surrounded by hiking trails for walking or mountain biking. Nearby, for example, the Vallée du Brézou which boasts 3 interpretive trails to highlight the remarkable fauna and flora of this valley. Swamp, forest, several environments come together.
