A short break after a lovely walk to explore the cliffs. What a wonderful discovery, a unique and charming setting. A cider and a glass of red wine with a cheese board while we waited for what was to come... The quality of the cheese already suggested that it would be good to come... And even more so since our neighbors at the table were served, and we saw what awaited us. The quality of the products, their workmanship, and the presentation are to be commended. The climb to the castle from the lower parking lot is worth it to eat here. A wonderful place to which we will definitely return.

The climb to the castle is steep, but what a wonderful surprise when you arrive at La Gargouille! A wonderful welcome, iced tea to help you recover from the climb, delicious salads, generous and wonderfully seasoned, all locally sourced! In one moment...perfect!

A short break at this pleasant restaurant. It's worth noting the difficult access... Avoid parking in the lower town because you'll have to climb all the way to the castle. It's really very steep. At least drive up to the parking lot closest to the castle. (La Carrière parking seems to be the best). Otherwise, the restaurant is open but covered, so the weather should be nice. The salads, hot dogs, and croques are original and the ingredients very fresh. We really enjoyed it. The service was very relaxed and the two managers were very friendly. Keep it up!
