    • Lama'zière Farm: a unique and natural escape in Corrèze

Located in Lamazière-Basse, the Lama'zière Farm is an invitation to slow tourism and disconnecting from everyday life. Specializing in llama breeding, this educational farm is a key activity for nature lovers. Here, the emphasis is on the encounter between humans and animals, with complete respect for the environment.

      A handcrafted and sensory immersion

The visit begins with a look at the flock of sheep. It quickly leads into the world of craftsmanship. You'll be surprised by a "wool work initiation" workshop where, by reservation, visitors can admire and participate in the transformation of fleece into felt and precious yarn. To extend the experience, a souvenir shop offers items made on-site, ideal for a gift for a loved one. Between discoveries, a refreshment area allows you to quench your thirst while enjoying the views of the Corrèze countryside.

      Plan your outdoor adventure

To guarantee the quality of the experience and ensure the availability of the breeders, advance booking is mandatory. Indeed, between caring for the animals and welcoming groups, attendance cannot be guaranteed without an appointment. To fully enjoy this outdoor activity, appropriate clothing is essential: bring waterproof boots in winter and a hat to protect yourself from the summer sun. Although the farm celebrates wildlife, our animal friends are not allowed on the premises in order to preserve the tranquility of the camelids.

Time for yourself in the heart of nature

One of the great strengths of Lama'zière Farm lies in its welcoming atmosphere. Once the tour is over, visitors are invited to stay as long as they like to soak up the serenity of the place. Designated picnic areas (food not provided) allow families and hikers to enjoy lunch outdoors. This activity, suitable for all ages, offers a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the city, while supporting unique artisanal skills.

Somewhere in the hills of the Corrèze region, there's a place where time seems to have slowed considerably, probably because the llamas asked it to, and you don't say no to a llama. The Lama'Zière educational farm stretches across five hectares of wooded meadows, each utterly convinced of its own importance, crisscrossed by paths where the air smells of pine resin, damp earth, and something indefinable that one might call "peace," if that word weren't so often misused by people who have never met an alpaca. Because there are about twenty llamas and alpacas here, and I won't tell you anything about them. Not out of cruelty, but because some experiences belong to those who have the courage to travel. Suffice it to say that my son and I left changed. Not dramatically changed. Just... slightly readjusted. The team welcomes you with a rare hospitality that feels not like service but like an invitation. The distinction is important. You can go there with your eyes closed. Well, not quite. The paths are real, and so are the llamas.
