Passing on a passion from generation to generation

Winemakers from father to son, the Moulène family has been working the land of Domaine de la Gardelle for six generations. Passionate about his terroir, the vines, and the grapes, Jean continues, with a smile, the traditional farming practices of his ancestors to produce exceptional wines without harming the land. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot for the reds, Chardonnay and Sauvignon for the whites— the range is varied to satisfy every palate.

      • Corrèze AOP red wine is generous and fruity.
      • Dry white wine offers delicate aromas
      • Straw wine, made from fully ripe grapes, is delicious with its sweet taste.

Fun, encounters and sharing a beautiful tasting, that's what it takes to have a great time at Domaine de la Gardelle.

      A 100% organic wine produced near Collonges-la-Rouge

Respect for nature and the environment is at the heart of the winemaking process at Domaine de la Gardelle. Cereals, plants, insects, birds, animals… Each has its place among the plots, playing a specific role in the cycle of life. It is in this spirit of ecology that the Moulène family has worked the land for generations using traditional farming methods, foregoing pesticides and chemicals. Human hands and horses' hooves replace machines, as the harvest is done by hand or with the help of their two draft horses: Merlin and Pompon. Carefully tended throughout the year, the plots benefit from tilling between the vines, as well as natural products based on copper, sulfur, and essential oils. The result? High-quality, 100% organic wines crafted with passion in the south of the Corrèze region.

Come and meet Jean to taste the delights of his estate.
